Publishers are allowed to withdraw money from their Adamo account provided they have met the minimum earning of €100. All payments are issued in Euros and available through a weekly or monthly schedule on the basis of a NET-7 and NET-20 system, where money is paid either seven or 20 days after it was requested.
Payouts are made through three options: PayPal, Paxum or wire transfer. Adamo Ads makes no reference to any charges applied to withdrawing money, although publishers should be aware of the charges from the payment platforms themselves. For instance, PayPal will take around 2-3% of the money loaded onto an account (the higher the payment, the lower the charge) while a bank transfer can demand much higher amounts. Support

Live support is available to publishers experiencing issues with their accounts or wanting to ask a question. Adamo Ads network highlights a ‘close relationship’ with its publishers which comes through a dedicated account manager, although our own tests found this to be fairly unreliable.
Should any issues arise, the network invites its users to get in contact through email, Skype and the personal managers in charge of their account. This is said to be available ‘24/7’ aside from public holidays.

Terms, Conditions, and Other Notes:

The terms and conditions of the service at Adamo Ads reveal the definition of ‘misuse’ which can result in the suspension of an account. Each time someone wants their account to be unsuspended, there is a charge of ‘at least’ €25. Forbidden acts include:

• Sites promoting illegal activity, hate or violence towards a person or group, or deceiving their users.
• Sites with extremely low traffic – under 50 unique visitors a day.
• Publishers who host their site via free blogging or forum platforms.
• The overuse of ads. This includes sites with over six ads a page, more than two popunders or one exit popup.
• Sites presenting ‘no value’ to its users – i.e. made only to serve ads.
• Landing pages with content that does not work – i.e. 404 errors.
• Over 24 months of inactivity, which leads to the account being deleted.

Unlike on some networks, Adamo Ads allows publishers to sign up with adult, gambling/entertainment and streaming sites. However, they should be aware that Adamo Ads is very strict with its approvals. It considers itself to be a source of high-quality traffic, and that leads to a ‘strict’ approval policy when it comes to recruiting new sites. If a site has broken links, inconsistent design, poor content, too many ads or anything deemed as fraudulent traffic, they will either not be allowed on or banned from the system.

Referral Program

Publishers should note that Adamo Ads has a referral program which gives them the chance to top-up their earnings for referring their friends to the system. This feature allows them to earn 5% of the earnings gained by a new publisher they referred to Adamo Ads. Unlike some networks where the payout only lasts for a few months, this arrangement is in place for as long as the site stays on the platform, leading to a steady amount of earnings that could go on for years.

Final thoughts:

Adamo Ads offers a good amount of reasons for publishers to use its network to monetize their traffic. For one, the platform allows both mobile and desktop inventory, with options like in-video and instant messenger featuring alongside more regular choices like banners and interstitials. We are impressed by having the chance to monetize all traffic through the back URL system, along with a referral program offering 5% of a new publisher’s lifetime earnings. This might have been needed, though, as each user must earn at least €100 to generate money from Adamo Ads. On the plus side, this is available through a good range of options (PayPal, Paxum, wire) and there is always the chance to collect this weekly if you earn enough.

On the negative side, we found that its ‘24/7’ support can be unreliable despite each publisher benefitting from a personal account manager. The fill rates could also be a bit higher, as our investigations found.

Overall there are pros and cons to working with Adamo Ads, but a service that is certainly up there with the competition.
